FREYA

ADOPTED!

Freya is as cute as a button and full of the dickens.  Like most schipperkes, she is very intelligent, energetic and independent.  She has been through basic obedience, is housebroken and crate-trained.  She loves walks, rides in the car and cuddling on your lap, provided of course, that the cuddling is on her terms!  She has been fully vetted and is in good health.  She was surrendered by her previous owners because she did not get along with their other dog.  In her foster home, she plays nicely with one of the dogs, but is a little too bossy for the other canine residents. Freya’s best hope for a happy future would be in a home where she could be the only dog and there are no young children. Her ideal owner would have an active lifestyle, be knowledgeable and experienced with this breed, and willing to be a strong pack leader.  She would love to be your very best friend.  Could you give this precious girl a second chance?

A completed adoption application, agreement to terms of adoption and home visit are required, along with reimbursement of vet expenses.  There is no adoption fee, however a donation to the Trista Fund, a fund which assists with medical expenses for rescued Schipperkes, is requested.
