I
try to explain to folks that building a web page is a lot
like building a house. When you come to the contractor, you
have to know how large of a house you want, how many rooms,
styling, decoration etc.
You cannot expect a contractor to give you a cost on a home
when you do not have this information. The same goes for web
page design . . . . we cannot furnish you a price until we
know what it is you want exactly.
How do you know? Well, if you were building a house you would
drive around, look at plans and pick out one that suits you
and your life style. With a web page, you basically do the
same thing. Surf the web, look at all the pages out there
that you like and bring that information to your web designer
so he/she can ascertain what it is you are looking to achieve
with your page.
Quoting a flat rate for everyone is not fair . . . some folks
may just want a simple page while others could be thinking
of a ten page web site with all the bells and whistles. That
is why each page has to be custom quoted to be both accurate
and economical for you!
If you have ever been to a web design page that has all different
prices listed, it gets very confusing. We don't want that!
If you are interested in us doing a page for you than we need
to open the floor for discussion, find out what it is you
are truly trying to achieve and then we can accurately give
you a quote.
We can tell you this much, however. Our minimum charge is
$250.00 and we request 50% deposit up front prior to work
starting on your site.
Once the site "design" is completed and posted for
your review, then the balance owed is paid, the rest of the
information is added and then your finished site goes on-line.
So, if you are truly interested in having a site designed
for you, take the time to surf around -- decide what it is
you truly are looking for and then contact us. We will be
more than happy to walk you through the process and quote
you a cost.
