Faster than a speeding bullet. . .More powerful than a locomotive. . .Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. . .Is it a bird? A plane? No, its. . .

Super Kody

As of this writing, his powers still remain unconquerable, surprising even the most skeptical. Surviving brushes with death, consuming mass quantities of D-Con rat poison and supporting the weight of a full size tractor with his own small frame!! What amazing feats of strength and courage! It has been discovered that Kryptonite is not his only weakness . . . FOOD also tops the list along with paper shredding (oh my, this is a big one), ear nibbling (or should I say biting) and the ever popular consuming of particles which drop forth from the South end of a horse moving North! (YUM -- especially when they are frozen!) Those of us here in Metropolis adore him and are so thankful that fate brought him to our door.

Super Kody wants to be sure that you stop by and visit his brother, Wiley E. Schipperke. Of course, Wiley has his own page so just pet his adorable little face and you will be taken there. Wiley was rescued from an animal shelter and we think you'll find his page not only fun but educational as well!

O.K., you are all now asking yourself "What the heck is a Schipperke?". Well, that is not a question easily answered in a few phrases. A Schippereke is a high energy dog that is not only extremely intelligent but a wonderful companion as well. They are a breed that will capture your heart the moment you meet them with their clown-like antics and alert face. However, like any "super hero", they are not for everyone. Listed below are some great links on the subject of Schipperke's for those of you who would like to further investigate this wonderful breed. You heard right! Superman had his Lois Lane and Kody has his Daphne. Two star crossed lovers who live hundreds of miles apart but that doesn't stop our super hero -- he can fly circles around the world, remember? Daphne is a rescue from an animal shelter, a poor gal who had no home and no family to love her. In steps the Almeida's who opened their home and hearts to this poor waif -- that is when the romance started. Super Kody is a sucker for damsels in distress and one look into those soft brown eyes and he was hooked (not only that but there is just something about that missing tooth that drives him wild). Just pet Daphne's silken face and you can visit the Almeida's and meet the rest of their family! Stay tuned as this romance blossoms . . . .

Although Kody and Wiley have come into our lives, they cannot take Levi's place as he still holds a special spot in our hearts.
